TOWN OF CIRCLEVILLE MINUTES
April 29, 2025
The regular meeting of the Circleville Town Council was called to order at 7:09PM by Mayor Kristi Westwood. Council Members attending were: Shirl, Fox, Kaylie Barney, Stacie Gass and Shane Robinson.. Mekeisia Westwood, Town Clerk was excused.
Mayor Westwood led the pledge and Kaylie offered the prayer to open the proceedings.
Public attendees were: Terecea Westwood.
Terecea presented a site permit for Butch Cassidy’s. Wade Headrick and Chris Roth have purchased Butch Cassidy’s Motel & Restaurant. They are wanting to put 12 RV spots in on the south end of their property. They will use their existing water meter. Stacie made a motion to approve the site permit, and Kaylie seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
A site permit for Piute County School District was presented next. They are building a new elementary school on 100 West. Stacie made a motion to approve the site permit, and Kaylie seconded. The motion passed with 4 votes in favor and 1 against.
Next, the Neider Subdivision amendment was discussed. Stacie motioned to approve the amendment as presented and recommended. Shirl seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Stacie made a motion to adjourn; Kaylie seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:28pm.
